salt coffee to shipped mac app

sat in sa pa with a salt coffee, wrote down the friction with our travel photos, and three days later jo shipped as a mac app.

the problem was simple: hundreds of travel photos piling up, and carousels for family and our travel instagram kept slipping down the list.
built the whole thing with claude code, codex, and ai-assisted iteration rather than treating ai as a side tool.
jo keeps the workflow narrow: import photos, crop and frame them, reorder, add a cover title, then export.
it was a way to learn by shipping: understand what the tools can really do, where the edges are, and what i would build next.
